International flights coming from the United States usually have a connecting stop in Mexico City and are operated by Delta, Alaska Air, and American Airlines. To get to downtown La Paz from the airport you can use a taxi service that will set you back about $200 MXN.

Los Cabos International Airport

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located in San José del Cabo and is 120 miles (193km) from downtown La Paz. This is approximately two hours and twenty minutes drive away.

Getting from Los Cabos International Airport to La Paz using public transport is a breeze. There are quite a few shuttle buses from the airport that will connect you to the city and it will be a much cheaper option than renting a car.
